JOB WORKING LOCATION : Bangalore

Job Description :
  1. Candidate should understands the product and options of HP Servers and Racking, and produces configuration menus and pilot configurations.
  2. Candidate should interface with the Core team comprising of Marketing, Engineering, Pricing, Factory and Testing to understand the product strategy and implement them as rule sets in the product menu.
  3. Candidate should works with the configurator team to ensure that the product configuration rules are correctly modeled in the configurators.
  4. Partners with R&D and New Product Introduction (NPI) Supply Chain groups to successfully introduce new products into world-wide production.
  5. Candidate should interface with R&D, factory process engineering, Test Engineering and reliability engineering to solve product quality or yield problems.
  6. Candidate should responsible to sustain products through cost reductions seeking yield improvements.
  7. Candidate should analyzes samples of defective units/sub-assemblies, reports the results to the appropriate design engineering, manufacturing engineering, test engineering and quality engineering team(s) as well as to the manufacturing group or area and/or vendor where the issue occurred, and recommends or implements changes to the product or process as applicable.
  8. Candidate should develops product configuration menu according to the product strategy and maintains them up to date with the latest changes.
  9. Candidate should develops pilot configurations to help factory build the pilots.
  10. Candidate should analyses defects and puts corrective / preventive action in place.
  11. Candidate should develops and maintains a healthy working relationship between various teams for a smooth workflow.
  12. Candidate should have experience or understanding of engineering and testing tools and software packages.
  13. Candidate should have good analytical and problem solving skills.
  14. Candidate should have basic understanding of material properties and hardware and electrical component design.
  15. Candidate should have good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
