Job Description : Technical Support Engineer will be the primary point of contact for all assigned Accounts/Products/Tools|Diagnose and fix known technical problems for the given set of tools/products supported for the region or accounts|Communicate with customer Point-of-Contact/Partner as well as Cisco internal engineers|Relevant experience in Linux Application/Production/System Admin|Possess hands on experience or good knowledge on any of the Linux flavour (Solaris/Linux)|Networking skills- Basic internetworking knowledge. CCNA certification will be an added advantage|Basic windows administration knowledge|Prior NMS application support and VMware knowledge will be an added advantage|Basic knowledge of script writing (Shell, Perl, Python, etc.)|Basic knowledge of working on Database (Oracle, My SQL, etc.).
